At Ballito City Kids we encourage the next generation of leaders to become enthusiastic followers of Jesus. Our Bible-based Sunday school is filled with creative activities, crafts, stories, games, and songs. Our dedicated teachers and assistants are eager to welcome kids aged 0-13, divided into three groups:

Ballito City Tots (0 – 3 years)
A space just for mothers where one can still experience the joy of worship and preaching through our live-stream TV, specially curated for the littlest ones. Our dedicated room is equipped with age-appropriate toys, a nappy changing station, and a separate mothers-only breastfeeding room. Nurture your child’s journey with Jesus from the very beginning.

Ballito City Kids Junior (Age 4 – 8)
Join our enthusiastic teachers for a vibrant session of worship, crafts, and a Jesus-centered lesson. The fun doesn’t end there – games, juice, and snacks await, creating a holistic and enjoyable learning experience for our junior disciples.

Ballito City Kids Senior (Age 9 – 13)
Worship, learn, and create together! Our seniors engage in a lesson with a captivating craft to take home. Cap off the session with juice, snacks, and entertaining games, fostering fellowship and spiritual growth.

Kids Ministry

This dynamic couple from Pietermaritzburg, both passionate athletes, find joy in Comrades Marathons and conquering the challenging waters of the Dusi. Nestled in Seaward Estates, their home is a warm haven for friends and family. Married with two daughters, Skyla and Olivia, Trevor focuses on road traffic monitoring, while Kerri excels in finance. Joining the Eldership team in 2023, they stand as pillars in the Church, their commitment and leadership echoing throughout the community.

Embark on a spiritual adventure every second Friday from 18:00 to 20:00. Pieter and Vanessa lead engaging sessions filled with worship, games, and impactful teachings on Jesus. Prepare for an evening of connection, growth, and fun!

Every Friday from 18:00 to 20:00, our teens gather for an exciting mix of games, worship, and age-appropriate talks. Navigate the challenges of adolescence with a supportive community and discussions that resonate with the unique experiences of our teenage disciples.

Leading people carefully into their inheritance and purpose in Christ

Meet Kurt and Shannon, a loving couple who embarked on their journey together in 2004 with a shared passion for spreading the Great Commission.

In the words of Jesus from Matthew 28:18-20: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Before their current adventure leading Ballito City Church, Kurt and Shannon served on eldership teams and played pivotal roles in planting and nurturing a Church in Johannesburg for 11 wonderful years.

Their hearts are filled with love for their three beautiful children: Josiah, Julia, and Joel. As a family, they are absolutely thrilled to get to know you and welcome you into their lives!

How can I find my way to Ballito City Church if I don't reside in Seaward Estates?

Use the Ballito Drive gate and experience a warm welcome by our friendly volunteers and security team. Just share your valid driver’s license, and they’ll happily provide you with a personalized entry and exit code sent straight to your mobile phone.

What's your parking situation like?

Parking is a breeze at our location. We have ample parking around our building, and there’s even a field at the lower end of our campus. Being in an estate, our parking area is safe and secure.

Who is NCMI?

Do you have a Mothers Room available?

Absolutely! Our mothers’ room is located on the left side when facing the stage, and it has a separate entrance. It’s equipped with a live feed to the service and convenient nappy changing facilities.

Is Ballito City Church wheelchair-friendly?

Absolutely, our campus is designed to be wheelchair-friendly, with most areas on a single level. We also have dedicated toilet facilities to accommodate those with special needs.
